I am SOOOOOO pleased to announce that Emily won on the Bachelor. I was absolutely THRILLED for more than one reason. Beyond the fact that I thought she was the PERFECT and ideal candidate for Brad...and she was so cute and genuine...I had given Reality TV an ultimatum. My dilemma with Reality TV has been that NO ONE I like and so strongly support wins. It drives me insane. Let's review:
Bachelor: Jake and Vienna. Need I say more? I was so upset when Vienna won. WHY?!?!
Michael from the Biggest Loser. Um, WHY DID HE NOT WIN?
Bachelorette: Ali did not select Chris. Argh.
So, basically, this was the last straw. Really. I was going to select new shows if Emily did not win. But luckily. Emily won. I'm satisfied. Life is good. :)
Speaking of favorites....are there subjects I write about that you enjoy reading about more than others? I don't want YOU to give me an ultimatum! (haha) Keeping in mind, Ben and Baby A will continue to be popular subjects for me, but I do want to make sure I'm writing things YOU are interested in. Speak to me. Tell me.

What I am Watching
Every couple of months (Fall, Spring, Summer), I update you all on a very important matter - my TV devotions. I will admit I have mixed emotions about this installment, because I'm not sure how I feel about some of these shows. But nevertheless, I am a devoted fan.
Top Chef - OMG. I seriously cannot get enough of this show. I am in LOVE. I watch the current season, I watch reruns, I own the cookbook. I love it.
Bachelor - Argh. I told myself (and Ben) that I would NOT be watching this season of the Bachelor. But, then Brad got slapped - on the 1st show. I was hooked. I can't help it. I love reality TV violence. *wink*
Pretty Little Liars - For as much as I have a love/hate relationship with this show, I will still faithfully watch each and every week. WHY? I have no idea. Maybe it is obligation or obsession. I'm not sure which.
Glee - I admit, I will still a suedo-fan. I won't fully commit but yet I watch it. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!
Did you notice that The Biggest Loser is not listed? Oh yeah, about that...we aren't watching it. Ben has officially decided he cannot stand Allison. And, I am so ANNOYED that they have yet to reveal those two new trainers. I still feel obligation to it (my friend, Beth, sent me a Christmas Card with a mention of our mutual Biggest Loser devotion....eek!)....so because of Beth, I do still sneak-a-peek to the show.

Happy November 1st!
What happen to October? Seriously. I feel like I blinked and it was gone! It's been a while since I've updated you on my life via TV and film.
Netflix: Watch Instantly. There is nothing better. Because of this, I just finished the tragically romantic Love Story movie.
The Biggest Loser: Did you really, REALLY think Ben would hang up our hats on this show? THINK AGAIN! We've been enjoying the twists and turns of this season, but we've been a little frustrated that we haven't emotionally bonded with any of the contestants.
Top Chef: Just Desserts: Yes, I know. The irony that I watch a weight loss show AND a dessert show is not lost on me. But, I CANNOT help it. This show is AMAZING.
Glee: I'm a semi-convert. I will only claim "semi" because I deliberately wait for it to go to www.hulu.com before I watch it. I don't know something about watching it on Hulu feeds my guilty pleasure.

Reality TV As It Relates To My Life
Some people HATE reality TV. And, quite frankly, I have no idea why. It is hilarious. It is weird. It is addicting.
This summer, Ben and I took on a huge commitment of two reality TV shows. Bachelor Pad (yes, I watched that show...don't hate!) and Big Brother: season 12.
The Bachelor Pad was not that big of a commitment, it was two hours every Monday. And, it was two hours that I spent every Monday debating WHY IN THE WORLD do I watch that show? Only to pick up again the following Monday. (I know, I know. I have a problem) In addition (and most importantly!), Tenley was back. And, I LOVE Tenley. So I had no choice, as a fan, I HAD to watch it.
Big Brother was a completely and totally different story. LET.ME.TELL.YOU. That show required 3 nights a week, 1 hour a week. ARGH. It was so demanding. And, it made me feel claustrophobic. And, Ben begged to go on the show. (but that is a different story)
So, this week. Everything ended. Bachelor Pad - finale is over (Tenley did not win, so I am still recovering from rooting for her TWICE and she didn't win.). And, Big Brother concluded as well. Again, my "person" did not win. Which means - Ben and I did the math - that since JANUARY, I have watch diligently devoted myself to 5 Reality TV shows and my "person" NEVER WINS. Argh. It is so frustrating!
On another note, I'm left in a huge dilemma: WHAT DO I WATCH NOW? What shows are you totally into? And recommendations?
